Fully Wireless Koss Portapro Mod. A couple months ago I had ripped my Portapro's wire when it got caught on a door. Since then I put in 2 pin IEM connectors on each driver and had been using a replacement wire for an IEM. But I always wanted fully wireless Portapros and wasn't happy with having a wire on my neck like with the official Bluetooth Seems to have a large number of dedicated fans. If I recall, it was a competitor of the PX-100, years ago. Does the Porta Pro sound good? The only reason you don't like it is because of its looks? Those Koss KPH30iK seem like a good-sounding, portable headphone as well. Will probably try one of those two if my Sennheiser dies. Same exact driver, same general sound signature. The enclosure and headband pressure make a slight difference in sound, and folks disagree on which is better. I much prefer the Porta Pro: mine has slightly more bass, slightly clearer treble, and feels less congested in the mids. The KPH30i sounds pretty close but it feels slightly less detailed
If you want to use them I know people who daily drives them and apparently they have no issues with them, mind they are open backs so they will leak and you will hear everything, personally I don't mind either, I tend to listen mine at low volume so it feels more like I'm on a game with music on the background, not a fan of loosing myself and disconnect from the world unless studying or
The Porta Pro pads are soft and dense. The KSC75 pads are a little lighter and more scratchy. Similar to KPH30i. When you remove the drivers, there's a little grill in front that is common to take off and drill holes for the Kramer mod. When you take that off, you can clearly see what material the diaphragm is made from. qYobm3.
